As a young activist, I am in support of an eleven dollar minimum wage.
I can’t understand why somebody would willingly oppose the survival of minimum wage workers.
If it’s not enough that minimum wage workers don’t have enough to support themselves and their families, the people who are opposing it are rich white men who don’t need any more money than what they already have.
And the people working for it are the people who understand, even if only slightly, what it’s like to come from little.
It’s time to work for what we need. We need this. This isn’t something we can do without.
